Lazy Days

It had been a few days since Seiya had been released from the hospital. Sitting outside Yamada Mart, she flipped through the images Greg had shown her a week prior. Mirror Mirror, huh? If there had been doubts about the connections between the crime and the paranormal world, this erased them. Unfortunately, they couldn't just run to a police station and spill their story. As it was, Seiya doubted her friends would even believe her, had they not seen it with their own eyes. Normally on her break she would venture out for some air. Today, however, Seiya remained on the bench outside her father's store, wrapped up in the mystery surrounding her life. Setting the gruesome images aside, she propped her feet up on the empty side of the seat, watching people come and go. A lazy day indeed. (Let's say this is before the current Shadow Kota battle. c: )

"I'll talk to him for you." She smiled, flopping in a seat. Sipping at her milkshake, she watched him curiously. "Yeah, it'll be great! I'll take you everywhere!"

Seiya thought for a moment, kicking her feet. "Yanno my dad owns a store that sells chocolate bars."

[terminalshow]

“...Does he.” Arthur rather tentatively took a seat beside her. “Perhaps I'll make another request of you, if they're easy to come by.” Chocolate was just.. so smooth, so tasty! Curse this world! “Thank you for today, Seiya.” Sipsip.

"You're welcome!" Seiya rested her chin in her palm, watching the other bowlers with mild disinterest. It was unfortunate that good times had to come to an end.

[terminalshow]

“I would..” He cleared his throat, and then downed his damn milkshake like it was the last drink on earth. “Be pleased if we could do it again, sometime. Your reward is at the Velvet Room, if you would accompany me.” Blank faced as ever, of course, save for the tiny bit of red to his cheeks!

Seiya nudged his arm, smiling fondly at her friend. "Yeah, me too!"

Hopping up, she marveled as the Velvet Door appeared in the nearby wall. Approaching it, the door once again opened at just her glance. "C'mon, Arthur!" she pushed the door open, the music already thumping.

Seiya’s world was pretty ‘cool’, as it were. With a thoughtful frown he followed her along. It was almost sad that he had to return! Bowling was the bomb. The music throbbed in the background, and Arthur let out something of a sigh. “Your reward.”

He produced a small phone-charm in the shape of a black cat with bright yellow eyes. “This will allow you to fuse Neko Shogun, of the star arcana. Hold onto it.”

Closing the door behind them, she sighed. Trying not to show her disappointment at the days end, Seiya put on a smile.

Taking the little charm, she admired it. "Wow! It's adorable!" Producing her phone from her pocket, she looped the strap onto it for safe keeping. "Hey Arthur, do you have a phone?"

“Yes. More or less.” What’d that mean? How vague! “.. Not like yours, however.” It was clear Arthur had probably never used a cellphone in his life. “I can call you, if need be, I’d think. I may stick to using the notebook, however.”

"Interesting!" Seiya tucked her phone away, folding her arms before her chest. "I guess it's time to go... Let me know when you want to hang again, okay?"

Turning, she headed towards the door, which opened slowly, pouring light into the dim room.
