Lazy Days

It had been a few days since Seiya had been released from the hospital. Sitting outside Yamada Mart, she flipped through the images Greg had shown her a week prior. Mirror Mirror, huh? If there had been doubts about the connections between the crime and the paranormal world, this erased them. Unfortunately, they couldn't just run to a police station and spill their story. As it was, Seiya doubted her friends would even believe her, had they not seen it with their own eyes. Normally on her break she would venture out for some air. Today, however, Seiya remained on the bench outside her father's store, wrapped up in the mystery surrounding her life. Setting the gruesome images aside, she propped her feet up on the empty side of the seat, watching people come and go. A lazy day indeed. (Let's say this is before the current Shadow Kota battle. c: )

"I'll have to get a treadmill just for the occasion, heh." There was some weird commercial on with people on zip-lines breaking into an office building... Greg always found the commercials here a little weird. Then again, looking at the game shows, that wasn't very hard to expect. "Uh, what time is it? I don't wanna keep you here too late or anything."

Greg wasn't quite fond of walking in the dark either, thanks to both real and made-up dangers. Look, if werewolves and zombies did suddenly start to exist, he did not want to be the very first victim, now did he? "Aww... Well, uh, I understand. I can, uh... Show you to the door." The one that was really just a few feet away. It'd feel weird to just say 'bye' and have her go, though. With that in mind he hopped up and off of his bed, stretching just a bit.

A world with infinite time for hanging out would probably be a perfect one, but this one wasn't it! Greg would be lying if he said he wasn't disappointed, this had been fun, and he hadn't had a friend over in several years to boot. "Yeah! Uh, yeah, it was. I'd like to, so... Anytime, like I said before. Dad even said it, heh." Speaking of dad, it looked like he was in his room judging by the closed door and his absence anywhere else. "So, uh... Have a safe walk home, and all that."
