((Open RP, I welcome multiple threads! <3)) It had been a few days since... the incident. Seiya and her friends were able to save Miho, however, there'd been some emotional side effects. Well, and physical. Seated behind the Yamada Mart counter, it was her first day back in the saddle after the whole ordeal. Mr. Yamada had somehow had a miraculous moment of compassion and let his daughter stay home for about four days. Now that her little mini vacation was up, the girl was expected to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for a while. Still, despite the expectations put on her, Seiya couldn't help but feel down. Self-consciously tugging at her now stubby pony tail, the girl reflected on what she'd told Greg about her hair. How important it was to her, and how it was the one thing in her life that she could control. Oh well. Win some and lose some. Propping her feet up on the counter, she opened a magazine, deciding to lose herself in the lives of celebrities for a while.

Kota placed his next piece with determined casualness, like he didn't even have to think about it. (He did.) "I didn't realize there was some sort of senior citizen guidebook."

Hmmm. Not an easy decision, though he was already certain he didn't want the yellow kind. Greg filled up the small portion of his bag that was still empty with half red and half orange, figuring that'd do. "All right, uh... Mine's full, then. How's yours looking?" He tried to get a look at Seiya's bag, a little curious about what she'd chosen.

The top of the girl's bag was full of gummy worms. She twisted it closed, taking twizzler from the dispenser and wrapping it around her bag. Turning to Greg, she offered him his own little tie. "Looking tasty! Places like this are horrible for me. If I'm allowed near this much candy, I might just eat it all." Grinning, she headed for the counter, where Peppermint Man was doing the worm. Wow.

"Oh totally. You should pick it up at the local bookstore." Seiya stared at the board for a moment before placing a mint down with a furrowed brow.

"Heh. My bag usually lasts a day or two, but not much longer than that." Greg followed her to the counter while tying his bag up... At least he was paying for his own this time! The boy already had his wallet ready by the time they got there, though he did stop to give peppermint man the consideration that he frankly deserved. How much were they paying this guy? It should probably be doubled. "Is this their, uhhh... 'Thing'?"

Following him to the counter, she waited behind him as the not so enthused girl behind the counter rang him up.

"Takashi get up off the floor you're embarrassing yourself." The clerk mumbled, the cash register springing open.

The peppermint man jumped up to his feet, wiggling his arms like spaghetti.

Oh, his favorite kind of customer service. Greg wasn't even being sarcastic about that one, the best way to get in and out of a store efficiently was with a clerk who actively didn't like you and wanted you out as soon as possible. For that reason his payment was real quick, and he stepped aside so that Seiya could take care of hers hopefully in the same fashion. "You like gummy stuff, uh..." He paused to watch peppermint man dance, "... Don't you?"

"A lot." Seiya beamed, placing her bag down as she fished out her wallet. Paying the cashier in a timely manner, she reclaimed her candy.

Peppermint Man, however, wasn't so eager to see them go. He obstructed their path to the door with his rendition of the robot, his googly eyes dangling around as he moved.

"Next time I'm there," Kota promised absently. This was the part he wasn't so good at, trying to figure out all the moves he could make and all the ways she could respond. He didn't have the patience for it either, so he mentally shrugged and just placed his piece in the spot that looked the best now.

Tapping her fingers on the edge of the counter, Seiya watched the board with a curious gaze. Of course she had no idea how to anticipate any of Kota's moves, but she cold pretend like she did. "Hmmmm." Pursing her lips, the girl placed a mint in mock caution, eyeing her opponent smugly. Having no clue what she just did, she hoped making him sweat a little would at least be fun.

Making him sweat indeed - Kota didn't immediately look back at the board immediately, instead watching Seiya and her smug smile with suspicion. Hey, she'd always been full of surprises, why should this be any different? Still, he had to make a move and he so he did, cautiously continuing with his plan.

Maybe it was the nervousness that made him pick the conversation back up. "So you go to school, work here, and occasionally highlight as a superhero. Must eat into your video game time."

[terminalshow]

Miho smiled apprehensively, giving a nod as Seiya took the flowers- NOUGAT! “Thanks!” She plucked it up a more genuine smile (although still a tad hesitant), and got to unwrapping and munching. “Sooo.. Have you and Greg been hanging out?”

[seiyayamada]

"You're welcome." She smiled a bit, stretching her arms over her head. Seiya, caught a bit off guard by Miho's statement, coughed. "Huh? What? Yeah. Sometimes. What? Why? Huh?"

Stifling a giggle, Seiya just kept grinning. "Oh no, I just never sleep. Super heroes can't sleep, Kota-kun." she joked, watching the clock. They'd probably play into closing time, not that it bothered her! Seiya wasn't doing much work anyway.

"Wish you'd told me that when I signed up for the gig then," Kota replied, relaxing a little as he focused more on the banter than the game. "Might've had second thoughts if I'd known!"

[seiyayamada]

"You didn't really have a choice, Robin." Seiya just haphazardly plopped a mint down, shuffling from side to side. After a while, her legs got a little numb. Yamada Mart wasn't exactly the perfect place to get your daily stretching done. "Super Hero duty is a calling, not a decision! Grow a backbone, man!"

[terminalshow]

Was the tension between then broken? It seemed like it, at least for now... At least lessened, which was nice in Miho's opinion! The girl raised her brows with a mischievous little smile. "Ehe, ahhm.. Just wondering, senpai. Noo reason!"

[unexamined]

"Too much work," he replied with mock laziness. "I've made it this far without one." He absently started to unwrap the candy in his fingers until he remembered it was for the game, smiling a bit sheepishly before placing it down. "But I can't quit anyway, so you're stuck with me."

[seiyayamada]

"Psh!" Shrugging off his comment with her hands on her hips, Seiya struck an oddly heroic pose. Maybe she should stop eating so much candy! Watching the board carefully, Seiya had no idea what she wanted to do next. "Am I now? Dang. I /guess/ I'll put up with you." she joked, putting a mint somewhere it shouldn't even be. Oh well!

"You know something, don't yoooou?" Seiya pouted slightly, watching her friend with puppy dog eyes. The tension was definitely breaking as they got back into the groove of their friendship. It wasn't Miho's fault anyway, now was it?

"Tell meee! Pretty please~?"
