Flaws:

• Lazy: Once he's motivated it's easy to keep going, but getting Gregory to that point can be quite a chore. About the only thing that he seems to like to do is play games on his phone... Well, and study at home, but no one is the wiser on that one.



• Short Attention Span: Combined with the laziness is the lack of ability to stay focused on something for very long. Even the games on his cell phone are switched between frequently, and it seems like nothing can hold his attention for more than an hour or two at best.



• Anti-social: He doesn't like people very much, by the looks of it, and is even more adverse to carrying on conversations with them.

History:
Born and raised in America; his mother died during birth. The boy's always done very well in school, though the general attitude toward it in the states has warped his perception of how one should act when in the classroom. Not wanting to look like a complete nerd, around Junior High he adopted a very un-enthused and standoffish attitude toward being in the classroom and on campus. Thankfully, however, he was smart enough to maintain the good grades and not let those fall as a result. An unfortunate side effect, though, was that attitude creeping in to the rest of his life.

Before long Gregory had alienated most everyone, including his father, who was on the fast-track in a large video game company and climbing the corporate ladder fairly quickly. He couldn't do much to help the now teenaged boy, especially with most of his life consumed with work! Being multi-lingual, Greg's father was promised a massive pay raise if he moved with his son to Japan and worked with the company there as something like an 'ambassador'. The money (and experience) was too much to turn down, and Gregory was told that they were moving during his next summer break.

He wasn't exactly happy, though his father had taught him some of the language as a child and they worked on some of the intricacies whenever dad could get some free time. There wasn't quite time for Greg to nail down the language completely before they left, but it'd be enough to get him through the days if he got some tutoring on the side once they'd actually arrived. The two ended up living in a city called Okachi in the Okinawa Prefecture. The place seemed nice enough upon arriving, though the petty crime all over the news has both him and his father a little worried.
